PRESIDENT'S LETTER

As your president, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and dedication to the Northeast Friesian Horse Council. Our club has grown and achieved so much over the years, and it is all because of the incredible members like you.

First and foremost, I want to applaud each and every one of you for your passion for horses. It is evident in the way you care for them, ride them, and strive to learn more about them. Your commitment to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our horses is truly inspiring.

I would also like to express my heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of our dedicated committee members who work tirelessly to organize these activities and ensure the smooth functioning of our club. Their passion and dedication are truly commendable.

I am thrilled to announce that we have some exciting events planned for the upcoming months. Our annual Horse Show is just around the corner, and I have no doubt that it will be a remarkable showcase of equestrian talent. Whether you plan to compete or simply cheer on your fellow members, this event promises to be a memorable day for all.

As the horse show season comes to a close, (and a new season is about to start) it is important to take a moment to reflect on the incredible experiences and achievements that have been accomplished. Showcasing gratitude towards the individuals who have played a significant role in this successful season is a gesture that holds immense value. Expressing genuine appreciation to trainers, coaches, grooms, and fellow riders is essential in recognizing their unwavering support, guidance, and dedication. Furthermore, our fellow competitors deserve recognition for their sportsmanship, camaraderie, and the friendly competition that pushed us to reach new heights.

Additionally, expressing gratitude towards the horses is equally important. These majestic creatures have been the true heroes, carrying us through countless classes and performances. Let’s be real for a moment, they would rather be in their pastures munching on grass!

A heartfelt thank you to the show organizers, judges, and volunteers is also a must, as their behind-the-scenes efforts bring the entire horse show experience to life. The memories created, lessons learned, and bonds formed throughout the season are immeasurable, and expressing gratitude is a beautiful way to acknowledge the collective efforts of everyone involved. The 2024 Horse Show Season is going to be one for the books!

Together, we are a community that fosters a love for horses and a passion for equestrian pursuits. Let's continue to support and encourage each other as we embark on new adventures and create unforgettable memories with our horses.

We support all breeds for our Year End Awards program!
